Am 6. Juli 2016 fanden die Abschlusspräsentationen des WPF’s Internet of Things statt. Insgesamt wurde fünf Projekte vorgestellt. In diesen Projekten wurde ein breites Spektrum an Ideen und Technologien umgesetzt und eingesetzt. Von Alltagsgegenständen wie Schränken, Kaffeemaschinen oder auch Wäscheleinen, wurden allerhand Sensoren und modernste Mini-Computer verwendet. Zum Einsatz kamen Rasberry Pi 3, Photons, Arduinos, LEDs, Drucksensoren, Gewichtssensoren, NFC Tags, Feuchtigkeitssensoren, AT Tinys, Gyroskope und viele andere Materialien sowie MQTT und HTTP für die Kommunikation. Im Folgenden soll eine kleiner Rückblick auf die Projekte dargestellt werden.

Expert Talks and Poster Presentations at WPF
During the last session of WPF Mobile Computing we had external experts who joined our class. First they both gave insights into their daily work as developers of mobile and interactive software. Next they talked about specific topics of mobile computing. Afterwards our students presented the current version of their apps.

WPF Mobile Computing (SS16)
In this elective module students will learn about the relevance, challenges and technologies of mobile software development. After taking part in this module they will be able to design, implement and manage mobile apps for smartphones. This module enables students to deal with their own mobile systems for other study projects, for their final theses or on job.
